x/DC Integration and Development Platform

The x/DC server is an XML based integration platform designed from the ground up to take in data from any source including bar code, RFID, PLC’s, scales, MES, Web Servers, other applications, etc. and provide it in the right format to Oracle EBS or any other business application in the enterprise.

Data output format is configurable and supports most formats including Web Services, Oracle Tables, flat file, MQ Series, MSMQ, proprietary XML, etc.  As data is scanned it is immediately validated against the Oracle (or other systems) database.  This stops errors before they happen. 

A single scanning process can update multiple Oracle EBS transactions or multiple business applications simultaneously for significant business process streamlining.

x/DC server maintains a complete history of collected transactions. The Radley Client Design Tool provides portable (or fixed) device UI that easily guides the user through the scanning process you have defined.

Client Design Tool

The Radley Client Design Tool (CDT) allows you to simply and quickly create and modify data collection device client applications. An “Add In” to the Microsoft IDE, the tool uses this powerful development environment to generate a modern consumer electronic user interface for industrial strength applications.

In addition to Microsoft® supplied controls, CDT also includes custom controls designed specifically for automatic data collection. CDT features Radley-provided “smart” code. This Radley “smart” code is pre-built logic that can be accessed by a simple drag-and-drop windows operation to facilitate object oriented development methodology for a stable, maintainable code set.

After writing the client program, the user will have the ability to compile this program to any of the following four output devices.

• .NET framework for Windows NT/2000
• .NET compact framework for CE or Pocket PC
• Smart Device Extension for Web Enabled Phones
• ‘C’ code character UI for Dos/Telnet
