iCARaS Shipment Compliance will assist you in evaluating your on-time delivery performance by tracking shipments and comparing them to your shipping requirements. Once in place, this function will identify whether a given shipment is “on time”, “late”, “early”, or “missed”, so the appropriate corrective action can be taken. Consistent use of this powerful functionality will help you comply with QS-9002 Requirements, improve your supplier rating, reduce the need to expedite shipments and increase overall customer satisfaction.

Shipment Compliance Setups are Quick and Simple

A simple checkbox enables Shipment Compliance, and once you define how much data should be stored in Shipped Requirements History, you are ready to begin tracking Shipment Compliance.

In addition, you have the option of adding a variety of user-definable parameters that enable you to tailor the system to your business process. For example, you can optionally:

• Specify a tolerance before a shipment is actually considered early or late
• Specify a tolerance that states what percentage of the required quantity must be shipped to be considered on-time
• Specify a Promise Date (negotiated expected ship date) for a given shipping requirement
• Exclude certain parts from shipment compliance tracking
• Track events with the Business Activity Monitor (BAM)
• Assign Compliancy Codes to a shipment, to help identify why the shipment was “late”, “missed”, or “early”. These codes and comments will print on Shipment Compliance reports

Informative Shipment Compliance Reports

The Shipment Compliance Report is available in a detailed or summarized format, and offers a variety of criteria that can be used to filter the data to the desired content. The summarized report provides a summary of shipments by part and destination, and will show the percentage of "on time" shipments. The detailed report provides a detailed analysis of all the individual shipments. The reports can be printed manually, as desired, or automatically, by defining an iCARaS Web Scheduler job.
