Verification of Glovia Pick- and/or Packlist data is the basis for Glovia shipping automation. Either document may be printed with bar codes; shipping personnel scan each line item on the list, and the corresponding inventory bin location, item and quantity, in order to verify products selected. Alternately, the lists may be downloaded to the Intermec portable terminal, which will prompt shipping personnel for the locations, items and quantities to select. In this paperless scenario the terminal notifies the user of any discrepancies in the shipping transactions.
