Keep Production Flowing - Even When Off-Line
Oracle DC maintains functionality even in the event of outages, network disruptions, or planned down time. Oracle DC stores transactions locally on devices and uploads them once connection is restored.
Radley’s Portable Client software – which resides on the end device – is easier for employees to use than terminal emulation, and devices are simpler to configure. And with client/server architecture, disruption to the manufacturing process is limited or eliminated when there is an interrupt to Oracle.
Should communications to Oracle fail for any reason (scheduled backups, power outage, system upgrade), Oracle transactions are stored on the end-user's device and uploaded when communications with Oracle are restored. Validations of collected transactions are made within Oracle DC before being posted to Oracle. Any invalid data will be captured in Radley’s middleware and may be corrected and reprocessed at a convenient time.
Radley’s client server architecture streamlines the prompts displayed on the end-device making input much easier and quicker. Less stress for users due to efficient user-friendly menus created just for a user’s functional area. Transactions made using Radley’s portable client solution can be prompted and collected by users on a variety of end-user devices; barcode, PDA’s, PLC’s, touch screens, scales, RFID, and smartphones.
